Indymedia Los Angeles is the community's news site. 

We're not gathering your data for some clandestine marketing campaign.  We're not figuring out how to monetize our archives.  We're not showing  you ads from Google.   We just help you get your news.

We're here to support the progressive, underground, above-ground, grassroots, change-yourself, liberate-your-people, liberate-animals, change-the-world, and save-the-earth communities.

This "freedom press" for people seeking liberation comes at a cost, however modest.  We rent a web hosting server from slaptech.net, and they, in turn, rent electricity and internet from a local internet facility (who, in turn, rents internet from several companies).  All this stuff costs money.

You can help sustain LA Indymedia, with a donation of money towards this server bill.  $10 helps keep IMC running for two weeks, with news and views, for the entire (wired) population of Los Angeles, and the world.

It allows IMC to be an open publishing system for all activists, and all people in struggle, not just the ones who get grants and have media budgets!  Not only that, IMC is a large archive of the history of politically progressive, grassroots Los Angeles.  This isn't textbook history - it's your history!
